You may participate by joining us for the tailgate, for $10 per person plus your admittance fee. Or choose to join us with the full package of walking the course, speaking with the veterinarian in charge of pre race soundness inspections, learning racing terms, getting race records for some of the entered horses and the tail gate for $39 per person. The second option will provide entry to the course by car pooling with purchased car passes.

I will need a head count by Sept 18 this Sunday in order to secure a good rail side parking spot.

Another Successful Horse Show!

PRP and Fox Meadow School held a very successful Inter School Horse Show on Sunday May 15th.

Thank You to Fox Meadow School for allowing us to use their facility and for Len and Kim Yotko's help and time to make this show a success. The weather held for us and we had a wonderful 65o day.

Fox Meadow had 17 riders participate, and PRP had 10 riders. All riders improved their performances from last year's show.

The food booth was organized by Jolaine Cage and provided free food throughout the day. Thanks to Jolaine and all who made sandwiches, cookies, quiche, and brought fruit. Fox Meadow School provided drinks, thank you Fox Meadow. The food booth served as our donation booth as well, where we collected over $1500 for the Days End Farm Rescue. Thanks to all.

PRP's Deb Higham gave up showing to be official PRP photographer for the day, taking hundreds of pictures. She is donating pictures to anyone who gave $50 or more to the horse rescue, thanks, Deb.

Congratulations again to all for a day well done!

First Annual Inter-school Horse Show

PRP and Fox Meadow Farm had their first annual inter-school horse show May 17th at James S. Long Park.

Student Horse Show was a Success!

The PRP horse show held Sunday Oct 5th raised $1000.00 for the Equine Rescue League.

I am so pleased with the turn out for the day and the wonderful sportsmanship shown by everyone there. Our stars were the PRP horses who helped their fellow equines by putting a whole day of work to help support equines in need and of course our own fellow students who planned, executed, and financed the show. A special thank you to all of you who contributed for the ribbons, flowers, judge, and food. To Jen a multi thank you for the time and effort you put in for the organization and the smooth running of the show.

To all of the competitors bravo for trying something new and for mastering the new skills needed to participate. I hope all of you had a great learning experience.

-Judi
