We've MOVED!
The Progressive
Riding Program has decided to move it's operations to Hickory Grove
Farm located just 8 miles away from On the Run Farm, effective for
the Fall Session starting September 7th.
Hickory Grove Farm is located
at 3491 James Madison Highway in Haymarket, VA 20169. Hickory Grove
Farm is along Route 15 with easy access to Route 50, Route 234 and
Route 66.

here for directions.
At this time there is no
indoor arena at Hickory Grove Farm. We realize this will create additional
lessons that may need to be canceled due to inclement weather, but
will work with the riders to ensure that there are plenty of appropriate
opportunities for make up lessons.
The horses were moved during
the break between the summer and fall sessions.
We understand that change
is difficult and are therefore offering a 10% discount on all 1st
block lesson prices for the Fall 2010 session only. Regular prices
will resume with the Spring 2011 session.
Please don't hesitate to
contact us with questions.

Second
Inter School Horse Show Success
We ran our
second Inter school horse show May 31st with Fox Meadow Farm. Fox
Meadow donated the use of their facility. The joint PRP Fox Meadow
free food booth accepted contributions for the Equine Rescue League,
more than $500 has been collected so far from that effort.
PRP would like to thank Fox Meadow Farm and their students for their
generous donations and the use of their facility. Additionally we
at PRP are extrememly proud that the Fox Meadow students selected
PRP Hector as their favorite PRP school horse while PRP selected Raspberry
as their favorite Fox Meadow school horses.
Show Season is Upon Us!
Join us this
for this year's showing season! Current PRP students are invited to

contracts, payments and friends that wanted to start riding.
First Annual
Inter-School Horse Show
PRP and Fox Meadow Farm had their first annual inter-school horse
show May 17th at James S Long Park.
Student Horse Show was a Success!
The
PRP horse show held Sunday Oct 5th raised $1000.00 for the Equine
Rescue League.
I am so pleased with the turn out for the day and the wonderful sportsmanship
shown by everyone there. Our stars were the PRP horses who helped
their fellow equines by putting a whole day of work to help support
equines in need and of course our own fellow students who planned,
executed, and financed the show. A special thank you to all of you
who contributed for the ribbons, flowers, judge, and food. To Jen
a multi thank you for the time and effort you put in for the organization
and the smooth running of the show.
To all of the competitors bravo for trying something new and
for mastering the new skills needed to participate. I hope all of
you had a great learning experience.
