Congratulations to former PRP student, Deb Higham on the purchase of Joey.

A Sad Farewell

Prime Scout

Prime Scout joined our roster of lesson horses to give students a high quality show horse to compete with.

He was the winner of the 2008 Working Hunter series championship
at the Timothy C Hanley $12,000 horse show

Scout was a home bred TB out of one of the few mares to finish the Maryland Hunt Cup, The Virginia International Gold Cup and The Virginia Gold Cup. She was 6th in the Maryland Hunt Cup, 4th in the International Gild Cup and 5th in the Virginia Gold Cup.

Rogan's barn name is Roy. He joined us in 2007 from an eventing background. He has already won several Championship & Reserve ribbons for PRP students. In 2008, he pinned in the hunter ring and won in the equitation ring at an "A" rated show at Commonweath Park.

Congratulations to Lane Brindley on her purchase of PRP Rogan, now named Boyfriend, and best of luck in the future.

Carrissimo
"Cosmo"

Cosmo is a really well schooled fine gentleman. He knows more than most of us put together!

Cosmo retired the fall of 2007. His owner Linda Taylor wanted to retire him to their Middleburg Farm. We were so lucky to have a horse of his skill level. We wish him and his family the best.

In The Chase

This QH/Paint pony had been a PRP schooling horse, but was purchased by Mellissa Mahoney. Here they are pictured at a show where they happened to win Champion Pleasure Horse. Also in 2008, Chase won championships in affiliated Virginia shows as well as winning in the Pony Jumper division at an "A" rated show at Commonwealth Park.
