OUR FACILITY

The Progressive Riding facility is conveniently located in Haymarket, VA at historic Hickory Grove Farm, established in 1832.

PRP is easily accessible from Rts 15, 50 and 66. Lessons are taught in a newly established lighted sand ring. PRP is a private educational facility and does not provide boarding or public trail rides.

The Progressive Riding Program is different because every student will be assumed to be a future horse owner. This means there is a lot of information that every student is going to have to know if that possibility is going to come true. The student will not just learn to ride, but to completely care for a horse. At the end of the lesson plan the student will know full horse management!

PRP sets teaching goals for every semester. Students will learn riding theory based on American Style Hunt Seat as well as practical horse training and management techniques. The riders selected for this program are expected to set personal goals and strive to achieve those goals.
